The IEA’s Renewables 2025 outlook projects a major expansion of renewable power capacity through 2030, with solar PV responsible for almost 80% of the increase. This is a forecast under the report’s assumptions, rather than a statement of capacity already delivered.

For a commercial or industrial user, global growth is only the starting point. The operating question is when generation reaches the meter and whether the facility can use it. Rooftop area, shading, production shifts, weekend demand and the electricity tariff all affect the value of a proposed system.

NEC perspective: SolarMax brings solar, storage and AI-enabled energy management into one project discussion. A useful assessment compares consumption and generation over time, then considers the battery duty, losses and cost. More equipment does not automatically mean a better commercial outcome.
